Time will tell on how well prepared we are in 2007 however we are playing 2 trials in Qld in hot humid conditions. One game against basically a Qld Cup team & the other against one of last years under achievers.
The Qld weather will probably see the trials played at a slow pace in wet greasy conditions where ball control will be very difficult. As a result the team may not have much of a chance to cement moves & games plans.
Whilst a match against a virtual Storm reserve grade team will not provde the intensity required to test our players who are playing for one of the undecided starting positions prior to Round 1.
At the end of the day if we start the season with no injuries I will be happy but is the preparation going to be enough for us to start the season running or will we have to wait until Round 6/7 to see the real 2007 Sea Eagles.
