Watching how a pack like the Dragons rolled through the middle is a huge worry for the rest of the season, since the injury of Tent the middle is not up to scratch, take Bully out and it looks like a NSW Cup middle on form.

The team selection will be eagerly awaited, Turbo will have to return in peak form to make this a competitive contest, outside the middles the on field leadership is below par, the performance and form of the halves is another area for concern

Mad to play Tom too early , next injury he’ll be gone for the season.

Hold him back , might at least save us from the Spoon later in the year

At the crack of dawn this morning I went into my secret basement lube lab and started working on special lube blend for next week. So far I'm experimenting with a blend of coconut oil, a deep heat rub base mixed with Oxy Contin, and of course some aloe vera and lastly just for colour some crushed rose petals. All early testing is this formulation it should be able to cope with a Panthers rampage.

Add some Valium

It is evident Seibold has absolutely No idea about our Manly Hard Core Resilient Premiership Winning Culture

This is what he came up after the Dragons Home Ground Loss last night after he was not capable of coming up with a win

Seibold Quote
“The NRL’s never been more demanding and we talk about player welfare and wellbeing and so on. I just don’t understand how it is five games in 25 days
End Quote

The NRL has never been more demanding ????
Seibold has never be more UnManly
Let me add that the players in the modern game are full time players that dont go to training straight after their fulltime job and they are also protected species by multiple replay cameras that make sure that they are not head hunted , or kneed in their back or their balls .

Below is an Example of our Legendary clubs Winning Benchmark way .
The Manly Way of Prevailing
This is what Seibold should strive for instead of striving to make excuses for his loses

The grand final replay was Manly's sixth game in 24 days with several Sea Eagles players having painful injections to get onto the field. Second-rower Terry Randall had a total of six injections - four in a shoulder and two in a groin.
"There were that many injuries in that team, I can't believe how they got on the field for that Grand Final,'' Arthurson said.
"Some of them were really battered about. They rose to the occasion. They were a really tough and great side."

The moral of the story ...
The playing group are as Great as their coach
Resilient leadership is directly linked to the coaches Resilient philosophies and guidance

Panthers a 4 time champion, starting to get their full roster back on the park, injuries and likely suspensions for us, and a recent tough schedule = all the excuses super coach will need. Players know they are not expected to win and will be excused for losing = zero chance.

From the get go a few weeks back, I thought we were, and still are, a better chance of winning this game, than we were against Sharks and Dragons. I tipped that way too.

Something about us having absolutely zero expectations of winning, getting Turbo back (probably), possibly getting a more mobile, albeit worse pack, and a 9-day turnaround into a bye make me strangely upbeat about this matchup.

Also, CommBank is absolutely cursed for the Panthers.

Some extra good news and for those that have been here for a while , you’ll know what I’m talking about.

We head off tomorrow on one of our annual trips away , not returning to June 30.

And for those in the know, that usually brings more wins , why ???? ****ed if I know but it has happened every year for the last decade.

Guess a lot hinges on tomorrow nights game, if they get thumped by the chooks, I’d say there in all sorts themselves and there’s no reason why we wouldn’t have a shot, even with our dramas, if they play themselves back into the winners circle, even a decent showing, then I’d say they’ll go on and serve us up more pain.

Either way, I think it will be a big ask for us under the circumstances.
