Sea Eagles prop Taniela Paseka has undergone surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon.
The 27-year-old suffered the injury midway through the first half of Sunday night’s Round 3 victory over the Raiders.
Taniela is aiming to be available to play in Round 25 this season following a 16–20-week recovery period.

The Sea Eagles endured a tough night with Jake Trbojevic (concussion), Nathan Brown (shoulder) and Ethan Bullemor (knee) all suffering injuries.
Trbojevic was ruled a Category 1 head knock and will miss the Round 8 clash against the Panthers.
Adding to Manly's woes is hooker Lachlan Croker who faces another month on the sideline after having another cleanout of his knee this week.
