Love your optimism Ryan but that is worst bench in the NRL by a mile. FW and LP have zero desire and play like Zombies.And Brown while not as awful as some suggests adds very little.
The run on side has talent galore but the problem is attitude which can’t be measured on paper. I expect us to be well beaten with kicks to the wingers by Cronk and Keary to be never ending.

This turnaround is going to be a long and difficult process but it will happen.

On Suli he looked so big and slow. Needs so much more conditioning. Wright is fit and needs a chance. Anderson does too but if they are looking at two outside players he can’t be called in while we have people who can play wing.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned anywhere but Gus Gould mentioned Hastings will obviously be named in the 21 man squad but is ‘a zillion to one’ to make the 17.

You can essentially take that as gospel given his relationship and closeness with Barrett.

The only way Hastings will make the 17 is if we only have 17 fit players.

Meanwhile, whoever plays right centre will have their hands full against L Mitchell. Walker, still on the comeback trail from serious injury? Or Suli, still inexperienced and not fit yet? T Wright, on debut?

We've done well against the Chooks in recent times but it will be a mighty effort to get the win this week.
