Gus released Brown to us when he was past his best and as a Manly supporter it was frustrating to see his mediocre efforts .
I never liked Brown as a Player but as a person I wish him all the best in the next chapter of his life .

I think he basically confirmed he retired, subject to offers, and is focusing on his "fashion" label now.

That last photo is the funniest I have seen in a long time!

As for Brown, I’ve never liked the ridicule some have given him. I always saw a player that tried his hardest, was respectful and cared about the team. Nothing but respect from me and I thank him for his service.

Well his playing career has certainly surpassed his fashion and modelling career, as it stands.

His playing career, on paper at least, was pretty good. 199 first grade games and 15 tests. I’d be pretty stoked with a playing career like that!

He was a pretty decent player. I've never understood the hate for him on this site. He filled holes occasionally and wasn't well used by Trent as a bench player. I wish him all the best. Came to this club at the same time as Nate Myles on half the money and contributed twice as much. Was a solid first grader and did a lot for the team in 16 and 17 without being lauded. Much like matt Wright. Look to the future. Until you all start whinging next season.
