Yep, great story.

He played very well in all the Finals games.

Mind you he looked pretty nervous kicking that conversion to give them the Premiership but guided it through without any issues.

He's a very good player, as are the other two Manly Under 20s mentioned. When he was injured the team really suffered.
As for his goalkicking . . . currently he doesn't seem to hit the ball sweetly many times - like me when I play golf. This doesn't mean he shouldn't keep practising. Being a reliable goal kicker will add hundreds of thousands of dollars to his salary.
When Scam Smith started his goalkicking was average. Now he is, arguably, the most reliable kicker in the NRL.
