Also would like to add a side note. Manly hasn't been beaten by 13+ since 2012. How amazing is that!!

This is something I'm really proud of and am wondering how we compare to other sides? Even the Scum were flogged on Sat night, and the Rorters lost by 20 round 1 ( we unluckily lost by a point thus far ).

That last away final down in Melbourne 2012 was a bitter, and comprehensive loss. Since then we've been consistently good, extremely competitive and a team to be really proud of!
And the players obviously take pride in that too.

Of course, a hell of a lot of credit should go to Tooves in that; and I hope we keep it going.
No-one beats us easily, and it just feels like we are building to something special again!

Yep Hiku needs to be in the side he's a strong lad and has a heap of talent. Catches the ball well and runs hard it's a no brainer. He can replace Wolfy as he looks to be down on confidence.

I half agree with it, good to have him on the bench for some circumstances, but I am also a fan of having 4 forwards on the bench. If I was going to change that mix it would probably be to include another hooker to provide some spark for 20mins

For me a key component of the makeup of the bench is Symonds, he can cover the centre spot pretty well when he is on the bench and allow us a better shuffle than what we have had so far this season

If we leave Hiku out then basically kiss good bye to him next year as he will sign away….even if it not his preferred position he is playing very well and i would seriously consider him on the wing and drop Wolf. I love the wolf but he hasn't been playing well at all…just doesn't want to catch a high ball…will just look the other way….Hiku outside of Lyon could develop into a lethal combination as well….

I don't think we can drop Blair. He has done everything right this season. Also, his height (I think he is 6ft 4in) gives him a better chance of catching and diffusing bombs, and his size/weight provides advantages.
I'd be happy to have Hiku on the bench but I'd be wary about using him as a specialist winger. Not that he'd let us down.
We are in a good position.

I never used to subscribe to this theory but it makes sense to me.

We could use a back on the bench along with 2 props and a second rower. He could also be used as a bit of a roving attacker.

However, If this was to happen i can't see a bench that includes both Buhrer and Hiku.
