I reckon it's bad karma. The ghosts of the failed JV still haunt the place and the crowd will be so against us it's not funny. I feel a major injury coming on as the bears curse will strike!
Interesting point though I don't believe in curses!! Do you really think the locals that hate Manly will bother? It may have got more mileage in a spot where the locals are more footy deprived. (It will be interesting to gauge the crowd and the level of Manly and Rooster support.) The game against Souths at North Sydney Oval two years ago was great and the silly Norths faction (all three of them) that showed were a joke!!! Hope you are wrong about the injuries.
