Really what happens at the front office should have nothing to do with the players. The players have only 1 job to do and that’s to try to win a football game every week. The coaches job is to get the team physically and mentally ready to win the game. If there are problems with the owners of the team then it should be kept away from the players and the coach so that they can concentrate on winning the game. I think Trent Barrett is trying to use the problems with the owners as an excuse for the poor form of the team this year instead of taking responsibility for it himself.

I think that you are right about Barrett using problems with the front office as an excuse for his own shortcomings as a coach. There were always problems going on in the front office when Des &Tooves were coaching Manly but they never seemed to have a problem getting the team to win games or even get into the Finals and GFs.
