Yep, Agree Commander, let him put his money where his mouth is. He cant be paid any extra ? salary cap!
So he has to do both jobs at no extra cost, and this will help pay for the fact that the poor ol' Sharks have no sponsor.

But the ASADA investigation was such a furfy, Flanno should be allowed to come back, early. Special NRL Dispensation. Dire need. You watch them fire under Flanno , might make their way up the table to 12 th ! 🙂

I feel sorry for Sharpy. There are a mile of ex players/coachers that poke their hand up when a new position becomes a available saying pick me, pick me. He isn't one of them. I think he learnt years ago it was not his go. Lets face it you have to be pretty hard nosed to succeed. He may have been a good back up man.

From the outside looking in Todd Carney needed someone to get absolutely firm with him. Flannigan may have been able to do it but not Sharpy, too nice a guy.

I would have liked Gal to be the captain/coach. He assisted greatly in bring the situation to where we have now. OK he just told the truth, but not always the best thing to do.

Well they've just been fortunate enough to make a very large saving financially (exit Todd)
for anyone ''brave'' enough to take over, for half a year that is.

With Flanagan back on board soon, perhaps allowing Gallen and the ''leadership'' group to guide themselves isn't unthinkable?
