I bumped into a fellow Manly tragic in a queue at the shops today.

He was telling me about his mate, another Manly fan who was staying at a motel in Penrith before a game against the Panthers two years ago. He was headed to the ground in full MAnly kit when he bumped into Zorba. When Zorba found out he'd made the trip from Dubbo he arranged for him to get into the sheds after the game and meet all the players.

8 weeks later the same bloke went to a game at Brookvale and came across Zorba again. Peters remembered him and again got him into the sheds, this time at Brookvale.

That's one VERY happy customer who is also giving good word of mouth.

The generosity of an individual hardly proves the worth of this individual as a media manager. The job entails more than just a good will gesture to one person.
