Exactly and he said it more than once to make sure no-one is in any doubt, the game's future - if any - will be planned and directed by broadcasters.
Surely there should be an immediate vote of no confidence in this chairman, and if the rest of the board is behind him on this, in the whole lot of them.
Scandalous.
Next they will have fox employees on the match review committee and suspensions will be based on projected viewer ratings. Hang on, they do that already.

The NRL is becoming a tv programme as opposed to a sport. I expect reality series spin offs to be the future, **** the kids, the game and the people that made it great

Paul Kent, sometimes for sometimes against, might be an ally, as he is pretty strong on keeping us exactly where we are as the only team between Sydney and drugcastle. Also that our successful brand is iconic.
I would think that there are far more sensible types at Fox that can see that for themselves anyway than the NRL.

Due to the favourable time difference, Fox need a WA Team or more NRL games to be played there
