Snake's Alive!
I know it's wrong of me to tell anyone what to think or how to feel after a loss like this but...

If DCE can be a great leader in 90% of games this year, is he no longer a great leader because of one poor performance?

If we can show great goal line defence against the Panthers (and all comers this year), does a poor showing today mean that we need to overhaul our defence?

Does a poor performance from Lane, when the rest of the team perform poorly, discredit his other performances in the previous two weeks?

I don't think I need to list the multitude of reasons for today's performance. Sure, it wasn't up to scratch, but these types of performances happen when a team is still learning to navigate the mental obstacles of a gruelling NRL season and it's that much harder when you have 7 regular starters sitting on the sidelines.

We don't want the team to pack it in after today, so we shouldn't either.

Good summation and the Manly side just have to get some team stability , direction and the organized and strong consistent defence back , that has served the team very well in most matches this season. A P I and Green are integral to regain this successful team trait and also agree that one very below par performance does not make a season
