There is been beaten by a better team whilst still competing AND there is been beaten and not even putting yourself in position to be competitive

That is what upsets me

Sure its not great but it could be so much worse.

I'm sure I'm in a minority here but tonight has been ok given the possession and who we are playing.

Last year we would have lost this by 40 + against this side.

Another try just scored by the panthers not great but we will learn and grow.

I've never seen DCE tackled with the ball as often as has happened in this game. I'm wondering if Croker's attempted change in play from dummy half has just thrown the timing out for any of the backline movements?

Penrith obviously the better team, but the bias/incompetence of this ref is mind blowing.

We've been literally flogged 3 of our last 4 games. Completely dominated by Panthers, Bunnies and Storm.

Parker we can but croker no! Croker is an awful hooker attack wise he does nothing his bag of tricks is a 40/20 attempt once a game that never pulls off. Our side doesn't offload iv noticed which negates any 2nd phase

Marty Taupau looks about 1% fit with that back. Our forwards have been obliterated.

Yes and no. Add Aloiai, Schuster, Walker and a real hooker and it evens up a fair bit. Even with Cleary.

We got nothing!!! We dont play smart why dont we kick early to keep them guessing? No raids on dce side and croker you know will do NOTHING so basically Foran is the only guy they need to watch. It starts with him alone atm

It's a kick in the arse and probably what we need to focus,there's a long way to go so don't lose your sh*t, we can only improve from this debacle 👍

This. We can beat the bottom 12 sides but we won't beat the top 3 the way we are playing.


These top sides completely outplay us in the forwards and we have no fluency in attack. But I think a big part of the problem is that good runs almost never get rewarded because the play dies with Croker before the play the ball is even finished.

Maybe but their replacement halfback played the perfect fill in role. Kicked us off the park.

This shows the difference between an outfit like panthers/storm/bunnies and manly..
Manly lose Tom and we fall to pieces.. get destroyed in MOST of the games we play.. (or weakly limp past the bottom feeder teams if we’re lucky enough to play them)

Panthers lose literally the best halfback in the competition.. no problems.. thoroughly dominate full strength manly (well, almost full strength)
