The team selected for the Reserves this week, often doesn't resemble too much as to what runs onto the field. The players that are listed and eventually dropped on game day, go back to the Ron Massey Cup division for Penrith Brothers.
Is this just an avenue to run some of the fringe players? Will it lead to anything, more than likely not but we can always hope.

It is an arrangement between Blacktown and Brothers.
Blacktown doesn't have to run a team in RMC after they had pulled out of the Shield comp the year earlier.
It allows them to be able to focus their resources on slightly more high end players like Dias,Stuckey,Roache etc...and not have to sign so many players,coaches,support staff etc..
Not sure that much may "come" of it as most of the top juniors are already picked up.
I think one of the brothers players is on the bench this week,for now anyway.

I see that there are 5 players listed in reserves who drop down to Penrith when the nrl guys aren't used.
