We had an issue with background services between march 10th and 15th or there about. This meant the payment services were not linking to automatic upgrades. We've now missed the finals 4 times in the last 6 seasons, under 3 different coaches.

Dissatisfaction with Toovey;

COVID-19; and
Newer faster rules and (sometimes) older slower players.
There is a lot of conjecture on here about what is wrong right now. Well right now we have a solid chunk of reserve grade players running around in first grade, trying to cope with critical injuries to key players.
Plus they are trying to adjust to new rules that will probably require a full off-season to adjust to; and they have no way (other than loan outs) of keeping fringe players match fit.
It’s a footballing ‘perfect storm’ for a club without the resources of some other clubs, in a season best forgotten.
I'm just surprised the media haven't started ripping into us...it won't be long. That's a shocking statistic for such a proud club

2020 is no harder for Manly than it is for the 12 teams in front of them Terry...
..they are just a lot sh*tter... our kids might not 'solve the problem' as Des said but you sure as sh*t will never find out if you dont try - blaming everything on our fill-in players is a cop out imo...
...those fill-ins are all getting paid 100K+ to play football and are there because the coach allows them to be... other teams seem to be managing to bring young kids in and slot them into an effective system/style of play (eg. Penrith Easts, Storm) so there is no reason it cannot happen at Manly... unfortunately our talent scouts, recruitment team and Des (and his support team) are letting this club down...
So who is running the club then?

Why give Penn a hard time. Him and his family prop up our club and we should all b happy that they put up their hard earned to support us.
Stop the hate......we have a club with a backline that reflects our position of 11th on the ladder, so accept it and pray that Des is the Mad Professor with a plan that will come to fruition in 2021 and not just stumbling mumbling Mad

Yep... the hate overload toward a family who pay the bills is outrageous. People on here complained that the Penns were too involved and needed to take a back seat. Now they are doing just that and the same gas bags are complaining about them not being front and centre. Go figure.
