We have been at pretty much 65 to 35 possession all half. 14 nil is not going to cut it. That possession will turn. As @HK_Eagle said earlier, how we respond when Penrith starts getting possession and a roll on, will be crucial. If we can't respond, that 14 points will disappear quickly.

This 2nd half could determine the rest of the season. Come on boys, let's show some steel!!

See, this is why I think it's tough blaming performances like last week on the coach. If you don't keep throwing the ball away every time you have possession, you're a much better chance of staying in the game.

But this has been a great improvement so far. Good control, good defence. And Simpkin has been excellent. Looking forward to seeing Navale get some minutes in the second half.

Wow, pleasantly surprised by that half! Still plenty of time to go and I am not confident at all yet. But defence has been strong, hardly any mistakes as well, no surprise we finally look alright when that all happens. Need to keep it up now.

Simpkin needs to start every game, Jazz at 13 is so much better than Jakey, Turbo just doing what he needs to do which is good, glad he isn’t overdoing it. DCE needs to chill a bit with these hero plays when he just kicks it through on 3rd when nobody even looked like they were ready to chase

Well done to the boys
But possession will turn and 14 points will not be enough if panthers get decent amount of ball in the second half
We are playing better but this second half season defining
Jake Simpkin looks so good at nine he has to be our starting 9 going forward

Simpkin at 9 terrific start
Jazz at 13 faster and that makes a difference
Takeako at FR execellent spell
Ola great in D as well as A
DCE kick choices ,maybe not thebest at stages
Brooksy going well
Turbo still in 1 piece so far
I think we will need to score more than 14 points to get the win ,I thought we should not have kicked on the 3rd when we were down there ,anyways go Manly
we have to keep up our intensity for the 2nd 1/2

Great half of footy. Perfect completions and all having a dig. 40mins more and we get the 2pts, then another 2 next week and into Sharks at home.

3 keys for me:
1. See ya later DCE was nice knowing you. Let the pressure valve off multiple times.
2. Get GCT off asap. Awful service at 9. And ffs Siebold persist with Simpkin as our starting 9.
3. Jazz stays at 13 and Jake into prop rotation.

Or more likely how we defend when we get our inevitable man in the bin

Admittedly though, Penrith have been ill disciplined and have made some silly errors which has helped massively. It’s still not perfect from us, but it’s absolutely an improvement. I can only pray we keep it going in the second

But here’s the thing

Last weeks effort was all about how bad the coach is.

And clearly , this evenings effort ( so far ) is nothing to do with the coach rather the players putting more in.

It’s what pisses me off with Silvertails .

Mind you we may well still lose , and if we do, it’ll be Seidud’s fault over what ever was said ( or wasn’t ) at half time.
