Can cover 1-5 and Backrow.

I am sure he could do a job at hooker aswell, but there would potentially be the option of Hodko to 9 and Walker to 6 If Api picked up an injury during a game

I have Lane in my starting side next year on current form in the Backrow.

AFB to bench, if we can pick up a decent starting FRF. being we lose too much when both AFB and Marty are off at the same time. Also explosive players like AFB aren't cheap.
If we picked up a player like Ah Mau/TPJ then AFB can keep his starting spot

There are alot of decent expirenced older players at the ends of their careers and young fringe players off contract at the end of this year.
With players like Uate, Hastings, Brown leaving there should be room for a couple of Astute pickups despite being at a 330k disadvantage.

TPJ is way above our budget and no way in hell would he go to another club for a bench spot. I’ve been talking about this kid for almost two years I think we’ve missed any chance in seeing him in maroon n white

I agree and there are multiple clubs reportabley chasing Ah Mau aswell, which is why is think it would be cheaper to buy a solid workhorse and move the explosive AFB to bench untill Marty Leaves

Apparently Ah Mau is a done deal at the knights. I would keep afb in the 13 I think Tanginoa is explosive enough to cover either Marty or afb, and paseka is only going to get better also. I think it’s just going to depend on the interchange numbers if they change from 8-6 it could change the whole dynamic in teams prop rotations. Paseka and tanga may possibly struggle fitness wise

Pretty happy with that. Although I’d prob keep sipley in the squad. And replace Matt wright with Suli. I think jetski is a goner already bud. I hope not though

Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think Matt Wright is off contract altgough neither is Sipley. If the club shifts him I won't lose any sleep over it, unless it's was to bring in someone like Bevan French to play wing

Good bones mate for sure!! I reckon by the end of the season Dylan will be a world beating number 6 and Kelly will make centre his own. Or wing and Loko comes up. Jorge takes back his wing spot. Sipley gets a few good runs and proves to be first grade material. Perrett finds something within himself ... looks good 🙂

On the subject of Bones - where is he? He used to be a heavy forum poster and maybe even a mod....haven't seen him here for ages...

I don’t think we should be thinking too much about signings, we should be focusing on retention imo. We have a great team on paper next year imo. Bring in hodkinson and the likes of fainu and Anderson. Cut jono/matt wright, uate, Brown, Hastings and winterstein. I would be keeping the likes of sipley and croker. Croker will be on minimum wage, if he can get some consistent footy at blacktown he will be great depth whilst learning of hodkinson.

I assume you are speaking of @bones who obviously still comes on as he’s leading the tipping Comp!!

Sadly my old mate has just about ( or in fact has) deserted the club, even selling his great collection of Jerseys and souvenirs collected over many years.

He’s very disillusioned with everything to do with the club since Penn took over.

To be honest I was surprised to see he’s stumped up $25 to join the tipping Comp!!

Some of his old friends are down on him for his stance , I’m of the opinion you do what’s best for you and **** what everyone else thinks!!
