When was the last time we lost a prelim final ?

Haven't lost any since I have been supporting the club in the early 90s

Interesting, In all of my years of supporting Manly, the only grand final qualifier that we have lost that I can recall, is the one against St George in 1971, or perhaps against the Roosters in 1975

RLW today said we hadn't lost a prelim since 1975 so I'm assuming that's against Roosters.

I cant remember ever losing one in my time as a supporter, which goes back to 1976.

Watched that 1975 game from the old Sheridan Stand. At the end someone near us said, 'There's always next year.' And there was!

That is interesting...also intersting is that brisbane have never lost a grand final....its a shame they wont make it!!
But amazing all the same! I doubt too many clubs would be able to claim either record...

Well bennet and brisbane.....credit to bennett for sure certianly suprised many with his efforts with the draygoons but he did sign some stars to their rable...

Des is the man and a sea eagle i doubt peter peters would like to see the sea eagles go backwards regardless of the rubbish reported...and the same for Des this group of players are pretty special.
