Defence was great tonight but our attack, especially in their quatter seemed to lack cohesion.

Some of this is being blamed at Monas but I thought we missed the short burst and goforward of Watmough. His ability to draw in defenders with his punch up running and play the ball quickly gives Dunley and Monaghan and co time that they didn't have tonight. Kennedy also draws in defenders and runs great lines in attack that trouble opposition players.

We obviously haven't really gelled in attack quite yet, which is encouraging considering our results in all but 3 games. I was pretty pleased tonight with everything but the result, our attack has been off for a few weeks and I didn't expect a miracle tonight.

Our 2 2nd rowers were brilliant defensively, but had no attack,so we lost that aspect of our game.
And our backs look to me to be in slow motion, too many dummy half runs inside the 20m and we kick too often early in the count for my liking
