Forward pass let go by the refs...the scum are still getting all the right calls..i hate parra but hate the scum more

They have let 1 go for parra and 3 for storm so far. Very odd

Good game. Not too many dumb 6 to go. Both teams have pretty good defence. I love the way Melbourne are coached to defend on the edges. Always have their players working so hard and in numbers. Players are always trailing on the inside in case of a miss. They work hard for one another. Manly are just either slow and lazy or coached poorly. ( Or maybe both)

Geez I hope the rumours of us signing Brown are true,he is the sort of guy who can transform a side,such a leader on the field.Reminds me of the influence Choc could have on a game(with more overall skill tho).
Runs hard and often,straight ahead or burrowing in behind the ruck,runs hard and then does a quick offload when guys are attracted in to a guy on his shoulder.Tackles hard and swarms in to change momentum like Gifty and Choc used to do.
We haven't had a forward leader who plays like that for a while.....

Someday the NRL will work out that they've wrecked the rules so much that the only competitive games are in the rain and wonder why that is. Maybe then we can have rules that actually deliver footy games every week, no matter what the weather.

I hate the concept of away jerseys. Unless it’s a major color clash teams should just have one strip for most all games imo.

Wet weather helped Parra imo. Always evens up a contest. Subordinate got them hone on two plays. Take note Manly v Souths on Sat. This crappy weather will square up all games this weekend.
