Defence from panthers has been outstanding which has forced the errors from the Rorters.

Panthers have done the basics in attack, second phase play in the middle is what’s needed to get on top of the Panthers, we will need Tent and Guaca to get their offloads going.

Yep, nothing to do with “speed kills” or whatever other garbage excuse some make. We need to work as a unit with an effective strategy in defense. Beyond that… do what we can to avoid arbitrary rule interpretations. 😊

Penrith played at a different speed to the Roosters and their energy levels were off the charts. It’s easy to number up and slide in defence when you’re completely destroying the opposition in the middle. The Chooks did everything a yard slower because they were gassed from Penrith’s line speed in d and energy with the ball.

Scary good performance from Penrith without a couple of their big guns.

I liked Ivans response to the obstruction b&w rule. At first he didn’t want anything to do with the bunker, but the journos kept at him, and finally he said whenever we‘ve brought in b&w rulings they have all failed. Everyone of them.

Re. the obstruction call, shouldn't there be some onus on both players to keep out of each other's way? The play comes back in and Edward's has tackled a player without the ball.

Robinson after the game using words like 'grips and tightnes' when referring to Penrith's superior tackling. This sums up our major issue in the ruck. No doubt Penrith's line speed is the best in the business, even without their star players, but also they all hit and stick and really dominate the tackle. Bellamy knew this as an assistant at Brisbane, and pretty much invented the wrestle. Premierships are now won by jiu-jitsu practitioners
