Bit of home field officiating going on. Looks like referees used to be at Brookie in the 1970s.

Forward pass in that last Dogs try. Three times Klemmer refused to play the ball & just laid there glaring at the pocket referee for a penalty. He got two penalties. Morris gets a penalty for trying to play the ball too quick and strips Blair of the ball in another tackle called a knockon..

Hopoate takes 20m tap and throws a forward pass to offside player. Scrum called instead of NZ penalty. What about when Manly get penalised for accidental offsides!

RTS never got to that 'catch' as Morris knocked it backwards. Funny the NRL lets the video referee intervene with live calls on which team made the ball dead over the deadball line, but everything else is sacrosanct and the bunker stays mute no matter how horrid the referee's decision was.

Aboslutely stupid that the NRL has video bunker to decide whether those 4 or 6 points should be given, meanwile 2 points penalty goals are awarded & they are beyond scrutiny still. Just like when Manly & Matt Orford got Chechinated at Gold Coast ten years ago & NRL still not fixed it.
