something v something v someone v everyone v not manly

first up Broncos ($7) v Storm ($1.10) - ouch.

Good chance for storm players to fill their coffers with a few Bronco bets. (kidding, kidding!)

Lodge and Gamble out for Broncs (off to therapy I'd suggest) and Welch out for the double contracts.

nrl's stat attack:

Storm have a stranglehold on meetings with the Broncos having won the past nine in a row. You have to go back to 2016 to find the last Broncos victory (26-16) but that was in Melbourne. The last time the Broncos beat the Storm at Suncorp Stadium was in March 2009 (16-14).

How delusional was I?
The Donkeys were pathetic. They were playing against the least experienced Melbourne team in years, who had a plethora of star players out, and still get flogged by 28 points.
I wonder what was in their water bottles when the beat Easts last week?

I did think that maybe you were trying to get an extra tipping point, but when I saw you are not in it...then yes...you were very delusional!

(lol... hindsight comment, though I tipped melb - as did everyone else. Not one brisb pick)

The Tigpies and St Merge remind me of that Kevin "Bloody" Wilson song ... The Kid (He Swears a Little Bit).

During the song, the kid formed a union and promised one day on and three days off (and if it rained, don't come at all). That's sums up both teams here. One day on, three days off.

Bastard. I had the Warriors.

Me too.

Now I look at it (even thought is was only a field goal) - I'm not sure why the bookies (and silvertails) had them as favourites. They had won 3 of their last 8 whereas the cowboys have won 5. Meh, I guess that's closer than I thought.

Too late now! (and I realise it was only 1 point and NZ just missed their first shot - as I said...too late now burger with the lot no beetroot)

The last attacking set of the Warriors was one of the worst I've ever seen. Gifted the ball 20 out from the Cowboy line and only needing a point to win they wasted five tackles hitting it up through the forwards. By the time they finally tried for the FG it was easy for the Cowboys to identify and pressure their kicker.

I thought both of last night's games were coin tosses... Neither the cows nor the warriors have been overally great. Coulda gone either way... Luckily I took cows ..
Same as tigpies vs dragons... Neither team instilled much confidence, both have been pretty average all season, took tigs, luckily.... Unfortunately I took a punt on Broncos to beat storm... I saw how rubbish we are without our 9 and 1, thought storm missing their 1 6 7 9 would be an issue.... Guess not
