For anyone watching on Nine or GEM ... was I the only one who just saw an ad for tomorrow night's Drongos vs Cows game being advertised as "the best are back"?

I get it was about the NRL being back for 2020, but they should choose better words when advertising two teams who will struggle to make the top 8 .

One thing I have noticed in this game so far ...

Every single time there has been an attacking bomb, even if there is no one near them the catcher is jumping in the air. The influence of the new rule. We've already seen the Dogs get penalised for it when Gutho was tackled in mid-air.

For a side that are supposed to finish nowhere and after the disruption of the week, the Dogs aren't looking too bad against the March premiers.

There were definitely a few tackles in that last set for the Dogs where better service from dummy half might well have produced a better result. Some of those passes were ordinary.
