Origin

Yeah Jake will start at lock for NSW. Tom has probably lost his fullback chance and now hanging on to a wing spot.

1 Tedesco
2 Addo-Carr
3 Aitken
4 Mitchell
5 Trbojevic

Thats the most likely backline for NSW, if Mansour was still around Tom would likely miss out.

But Tom and Jake and thatll be it for us.

Tom maybe, and it will be on the wing and not at fullback.

Jake will definitely be in the NSW #13 jumper.

For mine right now, the NSW team for Game 1 will probably be:

Tedesco, Addo-Carr, Mitchell, Aitken, T. Trbojevic, Maloney, Cleary, Campbell-Gillard, McInnes, Woods, Cordner (c), Frizell, J. Trbojevic. Bench - De Bellin, Vaughan, Klemmer, Cook/Bird

Nathan Cleary is due back 2 or 3 games before Origin so I think they'll give him every chance, especially since other than maybe Blake Green who I think they will be reluctant to pick because of age and lack of a defensive game, there is no NSW half really standing out.

Jackson maybe out but he's a workhorse in origin and a defensive machine. Much like Jurbo.
Plenty of other backrow options I agree.

Who replaces Woods and Klemmer then or are you going to have 4 props who have never played origin before all in game 1?...

I pick 17 halfbacks, including Jackson Hastings to start.

Wouldn't be totally shocked to see Tom named at centre with Mitchell. Cotric and Addo Car on the wings. I've heard Fittler talk about Tom playing centre a couple of times. Jake will be starting lock.

Jake should be our only selection.

Knowing the usual NSW set-up, they will pick minimum 5 fullbacks and play 4 of them out of position, so Turbo is a fair chance of a wing spot ( or possibly captain off the bench ).

Tick, tick, tick, tick, Fergo, tick (if fit), tick, tick (if fit), tick, Cook a decent chance here, klemmer, Crichton (cordner is a myth), tick, tick.

Tick, tick, junior as klemmer starts, McInnes as bird is a shot duck being overweight and overpayed.

Jake should be the only one we lose.

No way Tom gets fullback, amd I think there are plenty of other options for the wing.

I'd have Addo-Carr and Roberts on the wings. That pace would scare the s*it out of Qld.

Roberts! Haha, better off with 12 players on the field rather than having that soft defender in the team.

It is frightening for other teams that 5 out of the 6 Dragons starting forwards could make the NSW squad (with good reason).

09. Cameron McInnes
10. Paul Vaughan
11. Tyson Frizell
12. Tariq Sims
13. Jack De Belin

From our squad, Jake will be on the bench (if not starting).

Notice how I said winger?

I hate the bloke, but he could do a job on the wing.

This season he has made 119 tackles and missed 19.

Euan Aitken - the bloke being talked up as a defensive giant and gun, has made 148 tackles and missed 18.

Hardly the massive defensive liability that people perpetuate.

Addo-Carr has made 26 and missed 6.

Why are you not laughing at his defensive capabilities?
