Origin III - The Decider

Seibold part of the SEN team on calling game three tomorrow,

24 hours till kick-off. @QLDmaroons vs @NSWBlues in the Origin decider at Suncorp. Origin 3 with @SeaEagles coach Anthony Seibold + NSW & Eels veteran Tim Mannah on @SENLeague
On air tomorrow at 7pm @1116sen
I'd like to hear Siebs, Tooves and Lockyer calling the game

So for me , two hours behind , first up its fishing on beautiful Eighty Mile Beach in north west WA, we are here targeting Thread Fin Salmon.

Best time for fishing today ( tide related ) is around 4.30pm, so we’ll head down at 4pm , give it a crack for an hour and then back up to the caravan for the game which kicks off at 6.05pm local time.

Wish me luck , they weren’t on the last two days ( too windy ) but apparently the wind is dying down this arvo.

Oh and “ Go the Blues “

Saw a news report today that the Blues have only ever won the penalty count at Suncorp 6 times in 60 games.

I’d expect this to be the same tomorrow night and will lead to an easy QLD win.

Doesn’t mean the Blues won’t try , but any side , with 75-80% possession in the first half will set up a commanding lead.

Penalty count first half , Maroons 7 Blues 1, 6 agains Maroons 6 Blues 0.

That should do it nicely.
Tend to think the whistle will be put away unless 1 team gets out to a big lead. The refs have done their job ensuring a decider. Hopefully now they just sit back and let the players sort it out. 1 thing is for sure, QLD will push the limits in the ruck/10m, how NSW respond will go a long way to determining the outcome of the game.

You’d like to hope they would.

I just hate it when you get two top sides like that and it’s determined by what happens with the whistle.

I give you the first 40 minutes of Origin 2 as the perfect example, that was an absolute Rort ( and I’m a Blues fan ).

Unlike a few on here I am really looking forward to tonight.

Here is hoping for

1. A NSW win
2. Clean bill of health for the captains
3. Non career threatening injuries for the key players in the teams around us. The sort of injury they will play with but reduce their effectiveness

Some sort of situation that forces Moeaki Fotuaika to play 80 minutes would be nice also.

The Eight Mile Beach Location sounds Delightful and I hope you catch Plenty of Delicious Salmons
If you catch any sexy Mermaids in the deep blue sea save one for me
Enjoy your Great Retirement Living feathered friend @Mark from Brisbane

This is one that counts feathered friends...This is the one that matters for the Maroons
and all the premature Celebrations from the Blues in game two is only a mere and meaningless anti climax .

Tonight the Blues will burn and Perish on the Maroons Playground of Hell Suncorp Stadium

This is The Decider. This is Game Three
This is the game that will be dominated By the Legendary Maroon Leader DCE

The Hell Raising Maroons on their way to another Series Win !

I really hope you get 3 from 3 Isz, but I'm doubtful TBH. Particularly number 1.

I won't be watching the game. I only watch Manly these days but even though I hate QLD I hope DCE has a strong game and they win the series only because it is in our best interests for DCE to be on a happy high with his head held high coming into this week's game and the season ahead. Jake on the other hand will probably only end up playing 30 minutes tops and I can't see a NSW loss affecting him too much because he is fairly consistent week in week out for us. DCE on the other hand is a big confidence player and would move up another level no doubt on the back of steering the Maroons to another series victory.

I will be checking the live updates regularly though with great interest.

QLD by 14
NSW Panthers boys have never really aimed up in a decider they always so far have gone missing
It will be a completely different beast up there
Wish I was more confident
We have seen this movie before

Oh I'm pumped for tonight, cant wait.

That said I'm also excited for Origin to be done.

The 8 week stretch is way too long
Exactly my thoughts. Will be glad when its over...seems to have been going on forever. Having said that, go the Blues!

I am hoping for a massive punch up with 3 sent off (preferably from the one side) and 200 hundred arrests in the crowds.

14 players cited and suspended.

Tomorrows headlines read Shame Of Origin - mums taking their boys to ballet instead of thugby league.

NSW win 52-6
