Got to hand it to Luai. He took it to heart and finally someone said fuk this bullsht Qlder spirit and showed no respect to the arrogant entitled fuks. Great opportunity now for the Blues to put the boot into them and demolish Slater , DCE and the rest of the arrogance. Time to destroy this perceived Qlder entitlement and put them to the sword.

You really do need to change your profile name Mick 😂

Tonight's game I rank as the 3rd best game of rugby league I have ever seen.

2nd best is the 2nd Ashes test of 1990 at Old Trafford.

And funnily enough, the best game I've seen was actually one we lost. The 2013 Semi-Final that we lost 0–4 to the Chooks. I know we lost, but as a game it was the best I've seen played.

BTW ... haven't forgotten 40–0. That one holds a place those 3 will never reach.
That 2nd Ashes was such a memorable moment. Loved the full bat out of hell intro early hours of the morning. Just great times.

89 Grand final. Has to be there abouts for the finish.

I'm not sure how time will judge that origin game. The Steelers might have won with a soccer score 2 0 or 4 2 around the 90s and I thought it was a great game at the time. But with time, I'm leaning more towards it being a dog of a game but the close score was great.

Re last nights origin. There was a lot of liberty given to both sides in the ruck. holding down, actually even standing in the ruck, turning the player just about every play. All the slow it down tricks in the book were all fine and dandy. Both teams smashed each other, but with such slow play of the balls and defences set. It really was a Ref approved and sanctioned NRL close contest low score line.

That 2nd Ashes game was just so great. And of course perhaps two of Cliffys most defining moments.

The interesting thing is that in both game 2 and game 3 the Blues were clearly the stronger and dominant team. Game 3 the Maroons defended manfully but most of the game the Blues had much the better, and no miracles came for the Maroons. They will have much to think about for next year.

The players were good, from both sides (though NSW were better). But that clown Klein ... just how many Monday morning or next morning apologies does Annesley have to make for his pi$$ poor performances.....and he still gets given big games like Origin??

I mean, I go for Qld in Origin but damn, he literally pulled that possible penalty try near the end right out of his backside. Thankfully Grant Atkins in the bunker had a bit more integrity.

Yeah the words penalty try was so random .

Saw the 360 show - Tallis can’t help himself - cannot hack a loss. Funny how the QLDs attribute so much of their own worth to an origin series…..

Reece Walsh was not going to score in a brothel on that play. And yet Klein sends it up as a possible penalty try??

It was like Klein thought he saw a possible penalty in back play, but the only 'legal' way he could have it checked is the ole' "check for obstruction and possible penalty try".

I assume he knew it wasn't a try scoring opportunity and that was his way of checking something he kinda missed.

But still, what if he thinks a player is offside at the kickoff? Is he going to blow the whistle and ask the bunker to check for a penalty try? lol wow.

If he actually thought it was a penalty try, as the ball sailed far over the queenslander's head and walsh wasn't anywhere near it - then he probably shouldn't be refereeing any level of footy.

Rabbitohs CEO Blake Solly described the fact his club is bearing the brunt of a representative suspension as “amateur hour” on Thursday.

“If the ARLC are going to persist with their ridiculous Origin schedule, suspensions incurred in Origin games need to be served in representative matches, just as international football [soccer] do,” Solly told this masthead.

Agreed.

I agree that the suspensions should be served in representative footy.

DCE has a bit of adam gilchrist in his attitude toward the game and i say that respectfully. He doesnt really get into the physical intimidation that comes at NRL level. He is a pure footy player

He looked out of place in those exchanges a little as its clearly not his go but he didnt back down. He was emotionally all in thats for sure

Goodpoint
He usually remains above the niggle & aggro but he backs himself when someone else brings it.

Get the feeling that NRL360 is 90% dramatic performance tbh...
Tallis was talking the Blues chances up early in the series so, whilst obviously he wanted Qld to win, I doubt he is overly surprised or crushed...

I get it but....
There are 3 state of O games a year in what is a far more physical game than football.

As an example France are playing 6 more games this year (after another 10 or so already) meaning any suspensions are served fairly quickly.

Under a scenario where players are suspended for rep games only how would you handle loading? Are they just treated as "fresh" even though they play in the same system?
