Manly skipper Michael Monaghan again parted with his $1000 Channel 9 man of the match award straight after Sunday's thrilling one point win over Brisbane - courtesy of his field goal.

Monaghan gave his $1000 to Sea Eagles cheerleader and Miss Australia contest finalist Renee Offner. Renee's chosen charity is Dalwood Homes and she is doing an outstanding job raising funds for the Seaforth-based centre.

Monaghan had previously given his $1000 awards to locally based organisations involving physically handicapped children including the Arranounbai School of Allambie Heights.

$2,000 out of an annual salary of $240,000. And he'll get a tax deduction for it. woohoo.
