Onitoni Large

Just watched the Matts game some really promising performances - the young Turbo look alike looks good
Yeah, think that is Oscar Crotty another local boy.
The two others who stood out for me were the 7,Callum Miskell, a pick up from Orange and the Western Rams in the Johns Cup.No fear defense wise and a good little organiser and kicker/goal kicker.
The best for me was the local kid Billy Miller at 13, don't see many local junior forwards come through with that sort of mongrel in them, excellent work on both sides of the ball.
Don't want to overhype him,but there is a little Choc/BK in him, repped the Waratahs in rugby as well.

I thought the 13 was Beau McKee?

Thanks for all your info Joe. I luv reading your posts!!

So do we have juniors coming through called Little and Large, didn’t that used to be a comedy duo in the UK years ago. However I guess that wouldn’t be acceptable in to days woke world

So it's official.. Ashton Large has followed his brother over and become a Sea Eagle!

Tigers forum won't be happy..huge wraps on this kid.

Great swap for the Fainu brothers in my opinion and both will far out preform.

Beau Alexander is also still with us .. SG Ball half.

Joey Walsh will play NSW Cup.. not bad for an 18 year old Rugby convert.. must really have some talent

All in all our junior signings and retention looks very positive.

Just on Ashton Large
He has that much potential played hooker in same team as Antonio in NSW U15's while only 14yo and was 1 of the best player, in fact was awarded the best by many good judges.
According to the report in the Tele he was only 13 and named in the Team of the Tournament at the Australian 15s Championships in 2022 that Onitoni was also named in.

Hooker: Ashton Large (NSW CIS)
Aged 13, Large was the baby of the championship who lit up the pool games with lightning dummy half skirts, handing his side match winning momentum.
