We all get pissed with what has happened with our great club over the past 5 years. Actually, it has happened that frequently I doubt much of us know what a normal off season or season is lol. Two things that remain the same however, this great site and the people on here. Heads up @Ryan, we will all go through this with you. It sucks the lack of feed back we get as fans but at the end of the day we all love this great club. Let's hope that when this all put to bed we can get back to the glory times.

End of the day, I love the footy. It's entertained me through so many hard times in my life. I met life long buddies (and I'd call all my mates who post on this site) my real buddies. I've met players, coaches, management staff.

Yes, I used to be a Bears fan. Apart from the fact Manly can win some games, and it's a winning culture, the main point of difference is the community.

Overall Manly's community is amazing, supportive, empathetic, knowledgeable, inclusive, strong, resilient and arrogant (in a good way - and Manly fans would know exactly what that means).

The Bears community forum at the end, made The Kennel Forum look like a meeting of the minds at an Actuary's seminar to determine String theory.

So I agree. I shouldn't whinge like I did earlier in this thread, and at the end of the day, I'm just talking ****, because as per my request (and I'd expect @Dan to hold Jas to this), when I die, I'll be buried wrapped in my Sea Eagles flag.

I guess I just have to remember what I love:
X The Footy (first and foremost)
X The warm beers
X The cold and unready pies

Great post mate. We are all one big family on here and every now and then we are entitled to that whinge and vent. It has been a tough 5 years but as Manly fans and our good arrogance lol is what gets us through. Love my league and really hate what the slime is doing to the game. But this site and everyone involved is what gets me through his crap and all the agendas against us.

Everyone knows how much I love our club.

Not going to lie. All this stuff, plus the punishment, plus the on field performances (2 out of 3 games so far) has left me feeling a little jaded by Rugby League. Like I've been given a swift kick to the stomach.

When I saw the team announced this week, I literally messaged Dan, and offered my Season Ticket, because I'll be scratching a very, very desperate Canberra team up as a loss unfortunately.

I know that's Mr negativity, and Mr Pessismism, and I wish I didn't feel that way, but I do. What magnified that issue is I wrote to Wayne Cousins (ignored), then I wrote to Lyall Gorman, complaining about being ignored, and I was (ignored again). Just think I'll stick with The Swans, and The Avs this year.

No customer service on someone who spends $500+ a year in reserved tickets, is just outrageous. In fact, I was going to buy 3 or 4 of those seats together (around 2 grand), I asked some questions about it - and guess what - my questions were ignored, so I said stuff it, I'll just buy one for me.

Just over it.
