Didn "t realize that Des played that many games as a centre in 1990 but recall him playing many matches in 91 as a lock . Certainly a very versatile player . Remember that Mick O " Conner and Daryl Williams were the Manly centres at the end of 1990 with Tooves and Cliff in the Halves i think . just can 't recall what Des 's position was at that time . Maybe lock ?

The Sea Eagles and the Warriors were set to do battle at Lottoland tonight for the first time since 2011 at Manly’s home ground.

Think that the G F qualifying win against the Warriors in 2008 was pretty impressive . Bit of a tussle early then finished well on top to go into the G F against the Storm on a really positive vibe and high note .Few close ones against them from recollection with Manly finding some way to win in the majority .

- I met Cuzzo at the Manly v NZ game in NZ a few years ago. He took me into the media box to see the work they do during the game. He was nice and generous with his time.

-I met some members from here that weekend at the before and after functions.

- My first live game at Brookie was in 2011 against the Warriors and I was sitting in that tin shed dugout thing. (woot)

I liked the article! It's good to learn about the histories and see some names pop up I've (err) forgotten.

Was that game against the Panthers perhaps in 2002? , Only other severe flogging that i can recall was that 70 something to whatever loss against the Panthers in Penrith in 2004 or so . Bernard Dywer was a Pom import i think . Can "t even recall Leon Yeatman [ another pom ? ] ,
