Chris Flannery- decent player- great utility value
Anthony Topou- Roosters got him at a young age and before he represented
Danny Nutley- pffft do not rate him at all and was glad he was on the park last week- gave away a few dumb penalties
Craig Fitzgibbon- well past his prime
Craig Wing- not half the player he used to be
Iosea Soliola- Roosters brought him up through the grades and is a good centre prone to brain explosions
Nate Myles- decent- had a great series for Qld last year
Ashley Harrison- solid in defence- nothing special in attack
Braith Anasta-most over rated player in the game
Joel Monaghan- I don't rate him but you wouldn't really know he's injured most of the time
Amos Roberts- good player
Anthony Minichello- great player

So as far as value goes I'd take Anthony Minichello, Nate Myles, Chris Flannery, Anthony Topou, Iosea Soliola and maybe throw in Harrison as someone who gets the job done.
The rest they can have!
I'd say our list would be worth more than theirs based on CURRENT value.

A lot of those players came to the Roosters/signed with the Roosters while Stuart was there or while the Roosters were a stronger team than they are now. Anasta for example took less money to go to the Roosters.

Also, Fitzgibbon is on basically nothing. He gets the veteran exemption doesn't he? Since they brought it down to 8 years or whatever? I think the contract he signed a month or so ago was for little more than 100k, which is all salary cap exempt anyway.

They're obviously going to have to unload a couple of their current overpaid players (Joel Monas, Harrison/Anasta/Flannery - too many backrowers playing the same sort of role).

Bell and Myles are both Queensland reps.
Watmough and Harrison both former State of Origin players with the potential to represent again.
