I note in an article winging about the number of ex Tigers who find themselves now on the Northern Beaches playing for the Sea Eagles this young kiwi.

Played two games of NSW Cup this year. Both at centre.
This kid looks good, how good is it that we're back at Brookie next year, I look forward to having a full day of footy and a chance to have a better look at who's coming through the grades

Kid looks great along with other signings. Future definitely looking bright with plenty of young guns in the Manly backline and Turbo to guide them. Hoppa, Talau, Koula, Saab, Lawry, Large, etc. all still young and yet to reach their peaks. We could be the next panthers if these kids play well together for the next few years. Can only dream for a Manly Dynasty 🤞

He came over from the Tigpies where he was training with their top 30 over the off-season, joined the Flegg squad and had a couple of games at 6 before playing centre.

Hopefully he develops and can play some NSW cup footy in 2025.

If he becomes a breakout star we could call his megathread 'The Lawry Daily Updates Thread'... (or not!)

Always good to have promising juniors in the lower ranks but always that bit of caution as to how they may eventually develop and to what level .
Not in regard to a Josh Schuster situation where a good level was reached briefly before going backwards but more in the Josh Feledy example where a young gun in the junior grades has not quite gone on with it , well to date .
Still , much better to be in a position to first recruit stand out juniors in whatever method and then a worthwhile pathways opportunity and see how it goes from there

Absolutely, we have to look at this recruiting for sure. It's what helps the Panthers. They have locked in players five years out. Joey Walsh is a smart move. Two years to get ready to senior footy and then take DCE's position. Only issue is we seem to have a lot more talented backs and not forwards coming through. Already an issue with fitting Lehi in. I do read good things about rep prop Laiafi and prop Mafoa.
