Interesting(and unexpected) that the website profiles have started to change,players released are gone and there are 25 profiles left without the additions of Paseka,Sipley,Tanginoa,Gosiewski and Croker.Just a thought that with those 5 guys to go on the site that maybe we have a tentative 30 man squad settled unless there are further additions or releases.No Hoppa but J.Lussick,Schuster,Price and T.Wright are there....(no Bainbridge either)

I wonder if J . Hoppa has finally satisfied his imposed conditions from both Manly and the N R L . I guess [ but not totally sure ] that guys like Schuster and Price and others could also revert to Black Town contracts and of course still be available for Manly as second tier players or whatever at any given time next season but not actually in their 30 man squad

Yep #Ben,just interesting as the website is usually slow and the last to do this sort of thing in the past.Maybe Gorman is already having an influence?No doubt that there will be some changes to come...

I think that Blacktown would have to sign them officially to come under their books but if the Sea Eagles want them to,then it is possible.However minimum contract for NRL is about 100K I think,don't think that Blacktown would end up paying them that much...

It could be the case that Lussick,Schuster and Price are on train and trial contracts and are not officially signed to the squad.That may be why they are still on the profiles page because they are still training with the squad.

The additions of Paseka, Sipley, Tanginoa, Gosiewski and Croker to the NRL top 30 squad sounds about right.

From what i hear Billy Bainbridge is taking a year off to overcome his injuries.

Would love to know who our 6 development contract players are as well. Metcalf, Titmuss, Fainu, Funa, Anderson and Olakautu are all training full time with the NRL squad so would be my guess. All bar Anderson are still available for U20's. Where the new system gets strange is that i think the development guys cant play NRL. Shame to waste Fainu and Funa on one of these if they cant play NRL this year. Then you have Cust and Tarrent who are also spending some time with the NRL squad but cant train full time due to rules, however both are eligible to play NRL once the top 30 man squad is depleted due to still being signed to the old NYC U20 contracts.

I think you have to have a minimum of 3 guys on your development squad,and you can sign up to 6.Maybe we will only sign 3,but if what you are saying is true then anyone who has signed a new contract could be ineligible.(if on the 6 man development squad)
