I couldn't make it to see them play, was it fun? I always love watching the junior and lower grades when I'm at Brookie.
A good move for Manly to be developing a womens team. Aside from the chance for them to play a sport they love professionally, it's a fairly decent strike against sexist stereotyping of females (as weak, passive, helpless). Tough women dishing it out on the field, great role models, and good for the male players to see as well. (on a day when a female president of the USA once again becomes a possibility!)
