I like the way the MWSE website announces the team these days - accompanied by voice-over by Rabbits.
A nice touch, marketing department.

RE: Under 20s Report from Junior SeaEagle Ella

Ella does a fanastic job with this, I can see her one day at the Telegrapgh AND what a difference it would make to have someone reporting with maroon and white goggles.

Well done Ella and welcome to Silvertails

Accurate, balanced and unbiased summary.

You will never make it as a reporter for the Daily Telegraph.

Forgot to mention five eighth Will Pearsall was sinbinned just before half time

It was a good win for our boys even though some of the better Parramatta boys did not play through injury, but our defence was fantastic the best its been all season. Taylors defence was superb saving some certain tries in the corner as well as catching and wrapping up a Parramatta bomb under pressure under the Parra's goal posts as well as putting some Matai style hits on.
Prop Lee had a great game and nearly scored a couple of times in the beginning, he runs hard and straight and built like a tank. I would be keeping he and Leonati another prop on the field for as long as possible instead of giving them short bursts onto the field and then taking them off, they are both the biggest forwards they have and against the next two teams the boys will play Panthers and Cowboys they need the biggest forwards available. Stigg was another good player and scoring.
The whole team played well they had a great dig for each other.

Another demoralizing result for the NSW Cup side :s

I wonder how the NYC will be scheduled next year, now that the NRL have decided to split it into State Cup sides.

Playing at regional grounds, in front of a few hundred patrons must have an effect on the NSW Cup Teams too :(

Disappointing to hear. I am not sure If its only speculation at this stage, but it a money saving exercise by the NRL. But I think a lot of your better players in the 20s will be drafted into the 1st grade squad. I am sure a lot of your better players will have a adjustments made to their contracts. Which also means if there is no vacancies here at Manly we could lose a lot of good juniors who have come through the system here to other clubs.
Would be nice back in the old days when you could roll up at Brooky Oval at 10am with your dog grabbing some food outside and sitting down in the sunshine watching all the Manly lower grades kick off followed by 1st grade. They were the good old days....
