Glenn Stewart is the perfect example - looked good in reserve grade but his for 20 games in the NRL he looked like he was riding the coat tails of his brother

No I always thought he looked up to it. Very early on he showed off some deft touches with ball in hand. It was just a case of biding his time, especially in 05/06, when he had Ken Bennedy in front of him.

And I am not speaking with hindsight!

He was good but every time he gets tackled he complains ending with a slow play the ball. And he's lazy in defence first grade career over for me.

Agree! Hiku seemed to be the world champ at that! All it ever did was allow the defending team time to get back on their line. Used to drive me crazy and I have no idea why 2v....or ANYONE (even his on here posting uncle) would not mention this to him.

Nathan Green playing well in the level of competition where he is most suited.

Still doesn't mean he's first grade standard.

Given our backline situation, I'd like to hear how Tony Santini is going, a specialist centre, I think he was given a couple of runs in the top grade about 3 years ago!! Surely he has 'matured' into a solid player by now?
