NSW Cup 2025

Mia looks to filling out a bit. Starting to look like a bit of a physical presence out on the field.

We have a bloke at centre named Kioa in NSW cup, who has always had Big ability, but seemed to not have a massive commitment and relies on talent.
If he could handle a defensive workload and had a Massive off season, would like to see him play backrow for a while, as has that super balance and power through the hips, a step, good pace and can beat tackles in every way.....obviously at NSW cup level first, but that's where I would trial him 100%

Just recall him not having a great deal of pace in that 20 "s title side in 2017 but certainly some very robust running ability
Moving to an edge may be a natural progression for him but as you say , need that reliable type defence to make a better go of it there for any transition
Going off some reports in N S W cup , seems to be having no problems being a regular tackle busting centre , so that is definitely still in his favor
Hart looks like the next likely candidate pushing for an edge i st grade position before not too long and Burbo has come on well this year
Ola a given of course and Waddell still on the scene for a while so maybe into the more long shot category for someone like Kioa to figure there but that is what trials are for to obviously determine

Hart should be set for a run in 2026 after proving himself against big bodies at NSW cup level....sure the speeds faster, but he needs to get time on field to adapt and has the goods....what you say about Kioa pace wise is fairly true, as he is an averaged pace centre, but a quick forward and a very interesting prospect,as has never really applied himself imo, which is the only reason has not got a crack at NRL level...in fact potential wise is above many who have got a run at Manly in recent seasons, but fact is regardless of ability, without application it quickly adds up to nothing
