NSW Cup 2025

Few interesting things to note from that game. All four of Manly’s bench players were 20 years old or younger, with three of them having played SG Ball (U19s) this year. Manly piled on 24 unanswered points after Zaidas replaced Gordie at the 30-minute mark, with Zaidas staying on for the rest of the game and Gordie not returning. Could be a sign of things to come – I honestly can’t see Gordie being re-signed beyond this year.

It was another 80-minute performance from young Hugo Hart, while Matterson only clocked 40 minutes and Mafoa got through 60 minutes straight without a break. Simi also got through another 50 minutes in the middle. Navale again looked elite in the middle, producing powerful, strong carries and getting quick play-the-balls that set the platform for the attack.

Watching the Bar TV Sports highlights, it’s clear Walsh and Faulalo are a class above. Walsh could step into first grade next week and wouldn’t look out of place, and both were heavily involved in setting up some great tries.

It’s strange how some think Walsh is ready while others have a completely different opinion and think his not even close to stepping into first grade. Funny how people analyse the game so differently. Anyway, where on earth can we go to see the stats of the game of each player.. league live and nrl app both don’t show any player stats (ridiculous). Most other sites I go on don’t show it either..

I’ve been 1 of his biggest supporters & do think he’d hold his own if given the chance. He was still great in defence like usual & created some tries, the problem was he was playing ‘dry weather footy’ in bad conditions leading to a 3 or 4 errors. I’m sure he’ll learn from it & be better for it

It’s a real head scratcher why Navale hasn’t got more NRL time this year
