He is intriguing, not an alpha prop,he was a lock when he first came to us and is probably a better defender than a runner.Sounds like Sykes deserved his starting position.
King at Storm is not an 'alpha' prop, just keeps moving and doing a job. That style of player might well be good for us.He is intriguing, not an alpha prop,he was a lock when he first came to us and is probably a better defender than a runner.
However, working in tandem with Paseka/Bullemor/Jake/Brown he could be a pretty good rotational player, hope he gets a run at some point this year.

Lost against a fairly new team the Vermin played, Sykes was good in the all stars game brought some good intensity.Seems Harsh. More impact from James in a small burst? I guess we lost last week despite the good defensive stats.
When fit Joey Walsh will play 7 in NSW cup and replace DCENot that it matters much but still think Arthur would go a bit better as a 6 and was under the impression that Wakeman was more suited as a 7 .
Back up for D C E no doubt a consideration and not a lot of depth at 7 at this stage but somehow , just don 't see Arthur the best fit there .
Didn 't get a good look at Swann in the trials but looks like goes O K .
Wonder if Chee Kam still has maintained his speed level , one of the quicker back rowers going around previously ..
Looks like Navale went all right and Patolo starting again this week so hopefully gaining a bit of confidence and good input.
Good side on paper , hopefully some good results for the rest of the season
Caleb Navale's stats over the first two rounds:
RD1 = 57 min, 1 try, 11 runs for 146m, 35 PCM, 1 line break, 3 tackle breaks, 42 tackles made at 95% efficiency, 70 fantasy points (highest of any Manly player)
RD2 = 62 min, 20 rns for 187m, 75 PCM, 2 tackle breaks, 35 tackles made at 100% efficiency, 60 fantasy points (highest of any Manly player).
Pretty ridiculous stats and definitely only a matter of time before he forces his way into the top 17. Compare these stats to our current "lock" and there really is no comparison...
