NRL's Expendables.

Harvies elbow

I'm a country member....... " Yes we remember "
2017 Tipping Competitor
The NRL's Expendables v Toddy Turdburger's untouchables.
That's what the finals series is looming as.
We of course head the expendable list not being renown as great traveling supporters or attractive to the TV networks.
Nothing a few refs decisions can't fix or the resurfacing of a cap investigation to put us off track.
The other Expendables are sharks, cows and Saints.
Rorters would be too but save for uncle Nick.
Untouchables are the storm, rorters, donkeys, riff and of course Toddy's pet project the slimey eels.
Can't touch parra who can bring 50000 mentally deranged supporters to anz at the drop of a hat. And the networks love the ratings numbers they bring watching on their wooden rank arenas.
I might be overly suspicious and time will tell but some teams are more likely 'ordained' to go deeper into the finals than others.
Depends what page of the fairytale they choose my guess is toddy would pop his little cork over a scum v parasites GF.

Nothing I saw tonight changes my opinion that parramatta are favourite sons of the NRL and bully for the rest of us.
Only a select few teams will compete with this mob for the 50/50s and big calls.
Tonight they play like sh*t and get piggybacked home.

Couple of points Big John:

Have the Rank Arena owners heard of flat screens, or are they keeping set top converter manufacturers in business?

and

Is there a correlation between the outcomes of the Richmond Report and the size of the Faecalmatta support base?

No Tezza they are blissfully unaware that the world has moved on.
As for the Richmond report, though I've heard of it you'd have to enlighten me.
I could look it up but I think your explanation would be far better reading.

In short it led to reforms of the mental health area, that resulted in people who should have stayed in hospitals, living out in the community.

Switched on to the E.G. Whitten legends for a moment tonight and they draw a bigger crowd than the **** the NRL dish up.

Ah yes.
In parra's case I think it's had an impact.
But it also ebbs and flows.
You know, rotation of personnel.
In's and outs.
Apparently data on such things in relation to their supporter base, which does increase when they are winning, which as history shows, isn't often, are taken from shoplifting figures at Peter Wynns score, the takings from card machines, Winnie reds and Brown Muscat from the tollgate hotel.
Accurate as anything I suppose.

'Reforms' based on the noble notion that mentally ill or disabled persons should not be locked away out of sight - except adequate support in the community was never provided, leading to scandalous neglect and numerous disasters, to this very day.
