We'd have the match stopping every 20 seconds. And what would be the penalty?
Technology only complicates a simple game.
Perhaps if the linesmen/women had laser pointers in their flags that gave the defending team a visible line not to cross.... then that could work.
I just surprised myself at how sensible that suggestion is. Not sure if it would work in daylight, but at night it would be effective.
