NRL stuffed up with Pearce

Pearce and the Roosters should seriously consider the legal route for compensation.

It is the only way that career politicians like Greenburg will ever get the message to think before they act.

Greenberg's admission has sparked an angry response from the Roosters.

Phil Rothfield revealed in the Sunday Telegraphthat the club wants compensation from the NRL, having lost about $60,000 on legal fees during the Pearce incident. The Roosters finished 15th in 2016 despite being one of the NRL's strongest teams.

“We are looking at all our options,” chairman Nick Politis said. “We said at the time it was wrong and now they are saying it was wrong.
