Still wish you could just purchase an NRL or single channel through foxtel. I am going to purchase NRL live pass because, well I have no need for foxtel beyond that

Agree, I have the base package, plus sport, and all I watch is the League.

Oh, and if the grandkids stay they watch a few of the kids channel’s.

Otherwise I watch ABC news, SBS occasionally, the cricket in summer and that’s about it.

The rest is absolute trash!

I really don't watch that much TV. I may have it on in the background, or the kids may watch other channels, but honestly its something that's there. Since moving back I realised how little I actually watch so at this point have decided against throwing money away on something I just don't need. Will probably content myself with live pass and just watch on my tablet.

If you have home internet you can get Foxtel play with sports and docos for $39 a month - no lock in contract but only SD and you can’t record - works for me . The HD only makes the refs bias easier to spot

The new $39 monthly, no contract special includes HD Sports for 12 months with IQ3 box. Can cancel each month.

The $100 install can be deselected with an option to self install. Basically shove the HDMI into the TV and the power cord into the socket.

I prefer the FOC streams when not on #9. No way I'm lining TG's pockets to have it pissed up against a wall!
