Penrith forward Adam Docker is free to play this weekend after being cleared of a dangerous throw by the NRL judiciary on Wednesday night.

Docker was charged with a grade-one dangerous throw on Titans second-rower Dave Taylor at Sportingbet Stadium on Monday night.

He was facing two weeks on the sidelines if found guilty, however, the 23-year-old was cleared of any wrongdoing and will be able to line up against Cronulla on Saturday.

Penrith hooker Kevin Kingston was also charged for his part in the tackle and will also be free to play after accepting the early guilty plea.

Docker was one of seven players hit with a dangerous throw charge from round-seven matches.

Last week, NRL head of football operations Todd Greenberg announced a crackdown on lifting tackles in the wake of the horrendous injury to Newcastle forward Alex McKinnon.

Greenberg said the match review committee would sanction any players that lifted a player above the horizontal and put them in danger of landing on their head and neck.
