This spoonbowl has turned into a modern day rivalry i dont know whether to laugh or cry watching that match
What a disaster this Galvin saga is turning out to be for a club that for a moment there was looking like rebuilding

They sure could of used Galvin yesterday.

There were 16 players charged in the latest round, 13 receiving a fine.
This system is obviously not working. It's not reducing the number of "indescretions", although most of them are pure accidents or refereeing bloopers.
And the NRL nor the clubs have ever confirmed if these fines are actually paid, and by whom -- the player or the club?
I've raised this issue before without ever receiving any clarification: what other profession do you get fined for making a mistake at work?

There aren’t many professions where you run into co-workers all day. I guess they have to be seen to be doing something to cover against potential future litigation for not providing “a safe work environment“ causing brain injuries.
