NRL Drug testing a farce

One minute they are representing their country. One even as Captain.

"It's an honour, we're so proud," etc etc

Then they are out in front doing the Haka; channeling their ancestors bravery, integrity, sacrifice, strength....

nek minnit: Buying and doing drugs in a Canberra alleyway.

I'd be surprised if they come out and admit they did it.

I mean why adhere to all those characteristics mentioned above when you can run away like scared little rabbits, and dodge all responsibilities for your actions....

That is until they are picked for NZ again and want you to believe in their belief of 'honour, integrity, sacrifice...etc etc etc

edit: Proctor has come out and put his hand up as a doofus....so that's one.

But the storm really do seem to protect at all costs...

tick tock storm ya **** knuckles

Yes, some do... though speed is better and cheaper for that sort of night. You absolutely can't stop dickheads being dickheads :/

So help me understand why rec drugs are better than piss.If these dopes know the risks, what is the attraction.ps I've never done any sort of chemical fun stuff

I've also worked security at a few bush raves, and until ice started coming on the scene we never, ever had any issues. The biggest problems we had were with the second and third generation Nimbin kids, who mixed ice and acid. They were aggressive and difficult to control, and when there's 20-30 of them and only half a dozen security guys, well things hit a little iffy at times I can tell ya. Some of them were king hit specials... but as soon as you fronted them were epic softcocks lol..

I'm not a cheap drunk (never have been), it takes a lot of booze, time, and money to get the same level of 'buzz' I can get from a couple of pills or a few lines (coke also has the effect of enhancing alcohol for me, so less drinks than normal + takes longer to wear off). Coke is obviously prohibitively expensive, so unless it's being handed around...but disco bickies were a much cheaper night out for me than booze. I'm also lucky enough to not experience bad comedowns (or hangovers, for that matter) - just tiredness from being up all night.

And agree with others - there's a whole lot less aggro (on pills, especially) than alcohol. It's just much more chilled being in a room full of people on (certain) drugs than a room full of drunks.

Proctor is using the 'I was too pissed to recall ' He must be as dumb as he looks :drunk:

And finally remembers that he has a family 😕

“I have a wife and young family, and taking drugs is not something I support or encourage because I am very aware of the damage it can do.”

Wonder if the Scumos flicked him for prior offences

Call me cynical, but am I the only one who doesn't believe

A) He can't remember doing it
B) This is the first time he has indulged.

Surely the relentless NRL drug testing program would have got him if he'd ever done it before.

I mean, who hasn't woken up after a few beers not knowing whether or not you'd done coke. It happens to me at least 2-3 times a week. I'm not sure if I have a coke problem or not.

Bromwich and Proctor, as professional rugby league players, have probably never been drunk before, which is why they didn't handle their liquor well.

Damn Nimbin hippies!

Fortunately I am a cheap drunk.
