NRL 2016 Draw/ Fixtures

Any Idea on when the Draw is released?
Keen to check our schedule for the storm/parra and dogs games.
I haven't been this excited for a season in years

No - the NRL have again dropped the ball here compared to the other codes. AFL and Super Rugby fixtures for 2016 have been released - how hard can it be - at least give us a definitive release date.....

NRL are waiting on team line ups to finalized so they can work out who Manly needs to play twice to reduce the chances of a top 8 finish and who the Roosters, Sharks and Broncos play once so they can piggy back them into the finals.

We had a hard draw in 2015, the hardest we deserve an easier draw

The 2015 draw was released on the 15th of December 2014. I'd say the 2016 draw will be released around the same time this year. Christmas should be the deadline.

Should be out by 24 December, about 6 weeks after the AFL, as is usual ****ing numbnuts!!

Must be close...Sportsyear Diaries are going to print next week (they say)...So they must be close to getting the draw

I seem to remember Smith saying something about the draw would be released much earlier for 2016 than it was for 2015. I guess they don't care now that Smith has gone.

The NRL, in addition to minimizing short-turnarounds, sharing Fri night & Sun arvo fixtures fairly across all clubs, should always prioritize Sydney old-school traditional atmospheric smaller grounds (Belmore, Brookvale, Cronulla, Kogarah, Leichardt) for Sat or Sun fixtures.
Thur & Mon night Sydney games should mostly be SFS or Homebush.
