Have i looked so foward to a clash!!
2009 was a debacle for reasons that we must let go to move on(for now) & 2010 there was a mass run of injuries ,suspensions & general disruptions.
That final last year, we were lambs to the slaughter & i must confess - i smashed down plenty of bourbon for courage, prayed which obviously didn't work & even told mates mates ya never know - theres a chance (but deep down ya knew the Seaeagles were goneskis). Since the frustration of watching that exit in 2010 vs Illawarra , trying hard but only producing water pistols at the gun fight, i have been counting down the moment - well its just about here!!
This 2011 side has a real 2008 smell to it & imo is ready to explode. Although the team has not been switched on 100% in recent times have a few gears up the sleeve - imo this is a good thing & will be proven.
Bring on Friday night!!!

There is alot of positivity around here and i guess we should be confident. I do agree that we will need to play better then the last few games or there will be a lot of disappointed/angry peeps on here come Saturday. Time to kick it up a notch and flex our premiership muscles. 🙂

I don't think 2009 was that bad a season on the field. Sure we had a few shockers including the last game, but considering the off field dramas, the start to the season and the injury to snake it was a remarkable effort to finish 5th. If the Dragons didn't choke to the Eels we would have gone onto week 2 and I would have fully expected to bounce back,

This squad looks better than 2007-2008 they just havent shown the complete meshing in a few weeks,i think thats due to friday night

Agree this is like 2007 not 2008, and we may end up with the same outcome!!

Meaning we WILL win the comp in 2012
